Calculator inputs

Calculator values are processed in your browser. GarageMath does not intentionally submit the numeric values you enter to a GarageMath database. Shareable calculator links may place values in the page URL so you can reopen or share a calculation; anyone with that URL can see those values.

Vehicle Garage, recents and appearance

The optional Vehicle Garage, recent-calculation history and System/Light/Dark preference use browser local storage on your device. That information is intended to stay in your browser and is not an account profile. Clearing site data, using a private browsing session or changing devices may remove or make that local information unavailable.

Offline support

GarageMath may use a browser service worker and cache selected site files so core tools can reopen faster or continue working when the network is unreliable. Cached files contain site assets and pages, not a server-side copy of your saved Vehicle Garage.

Analytics

GarageMath uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and product usage. Analytics may process page views, approximate location, browser and device information, referral sources and interactions such as calculator completion, theme changes, preset use or result sharing. Custom analytics events do not intentionally include numeric calculator values or Vehicle Garage details. The page-location value configured for analytics excludes calculator query strings and fragments. Share URLs themselves still expose their values to anyone with the link, and the web host receives requested URLs as part of serving pages.

Advertising

GarageMath includes Google AdSense code. If ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize or measure advertising where permitted. The presence of AdSense code does not necessarily mean ads are currently being displayed.

Cookies and browser controls

Google services and other third-party services may use cookies or similar browser storage. You can limit or clear cookies and site storage in your browser, although doing so can remove local GarageMath preferences, recent calculations and saved vehicles.

Email contact

If you email GarageMath, the email address and information you include are received so the message can be read and answered. Do not send passwords, financial account information or other sensitive data in a correction report.

Hosting and external resources

Cloudflare serves the site and may process request information such as IP address, requested URL and browser headers under its service practices. Google Fonts supplies the displayed web fonts. Requests to external resources disclose technical request information to those providers. GarageMath uses a strict-origin referrer policy, but that does not prevent providers from receiving requests made directly to them.

Third-party links

GarageMath links to external manufacturers, government references and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and are not controlled by GarageMath.
