About GarageMath

GarageMath is a growing collection of free automotive calculators built around one idea: useful garage math should be quick to understand and easy to verify.

The site focuses on tires, wheel fitment, gearing, engine geometry, fuel cost and performance estimates. Each calculator shows the underlying idea or formula so the result is not a black box.

What GarageMath is not

It is not a substitute for manufacturer specifications, physical measurements, a professional tune or vehicle-specific engineering guidance. The calculators are planning and comparison tools.

How the site is built

Calculations run locally in your browser. No account is required to use the tools.
